Magnus Nilsson is a patent and design attorney with Kransell & Wennborg since 2013. Magnus currently practices in all aspects of intellectual property law, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications, oppositions, infringement investigations, freedom to operate analyses, due diligences and patent strategies, with a particular focus on electronics, machine learning/AI, lighting, image processing, medical devices, software and cloud computing. After obtaining his Masters degree, Magnus joined Motorola Australia Pty. Ltd., as a Senior Research engineer, working on research and design in the field of image and video processing (2002 - 2003). Magnus was previously a patent attorney and Business Unit Manager with Awapatent (2004-2013). Furthermore, Magnus is appointed as a technical expert for the Patent and Market Court and the Patent and Market Court of Appeal.
