Carl is a patent attorney with Kransell & Wennborg since 2019, and focuses his practice on all types of patent-related matters such as drafting and prosecution of patent applications, appeals, and freedom-to-operate and validity searches. In addition, he also has a thorough experience of performing patent-related searches. Carl works within multiple technical areas, and his expertise is found within chemistry, chemical engineering and environmental engineering. He has particularly extensive experience of paper technology, material chemistry, renewable materials, nanocellulosics, polymer technology and coatings. Carl has previously worked as an examiner within polymer and paper technology at The Swedish Patent and Registration Office (PRV, 2016-2019), and as a scientist at ABB Corporate Research focusing on chemistry and polymeric materials (2015-2016).
