Joel has worked as a patent attorney at Kransell & Wennborg since the fall of 2025. With his broad background within chemistry, Joel primarily helps clients in the fields of chemistry and life science. This includes areas such as organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and biotechnology, as well as biofuels, battery technology, and food chemistry. From a patent perspective, Joel handles everything related to patents, including novelty searches and advice on patent strategies, drafting and prosecuting patent applications globally, oppositions, infringement assessments, due diligence, and freedom-to-operate analyses. After working as a contract researcher in pharmaceutical development, Joel entered the patent industry in 2017 as an examiner at PRV. Most recently, Joel was at another Swedish patent firm.
